DTAS New Assessors Training Course - 3/4 July at SJ Bargh, Lancaster (download)

We are pleased to announce that a DTAS New Assessors Training Course has been arranged 3/4 July at SJ Bargh, Lancaster for any suitably qualified personnel who wish to become qualified as assessors under the DTAS scheme. The event is also open to existing assessors who want to refresh their expertise, and to haulier staff that may have responsibility for self-assessments or who just wish to become more familiar with the scheme.

The first day will primarily cover the current DTAS Standards and the second day will feature a practical session followed by an exam, which delegates must pass before being able to move on to the next stage of the process, which is to undertake their first assessment, shadowed by an existing DTAS registered assessor, within three months of the course.

DTAS Awareness Courses:  (download)

26th June (Dale Farm / Bibby Distribution, Pennybridge, Northern Ireland) and 14th August, SJ Bargh, Longton depot, Stoke on Trent

These courses are for people who wish to gain a good and effective understanding of the DTAS Standards, but do not (necessarily) wish to become assessors.

They have been developed for Managers, Supervisors and new personnel of hauliers and milk purchasers to improve their knowledge of the Standards, and how they need to be applied within their organisation.

They cover all the DTAS Standards, focusing on what is required to comply with them, and also includes practical element

There are still places available on the first course to be held in Northern Ireland at Dale Farm / Bibby Distribution, Pennybridge, Northern Ireland on June 26th as well as the newly announced course at SJ Bargh, Longton, Stoke-on-Trent on 14th August.  As places for these courses are limited, and demand is high, you are strongly advised to contact Paul Charlton as soon as possible to reserve yours.
