DTAS Related Training

DTAS offers a variety of training options for new or existing assessors, anyone wishing to gain a good and effective understanding of the DTAS Standards and/or milk tanker drivers.  These are summarised below and more comprehensive information (including overviews of the courses, frequency and location, the target audience and contact details) can be viewed/downloaded here.

ANNOUNCEMENT: One-day DTAS Awareness Courses to be held on Tuesday, 24th February OR Wednesday, 25th February at Wm. Armstrong, Longtown, Cumbria & on Monday, 16th March OR Tuesday, 17th March at SJ Bargh Ltd, Stoke-on-Trent - full details available here.
 

ANNOUNCEMENT: New Assessor and Internal Auditor Course to be held at SJ Bargh, The Shires, Stoke-on-Trent on 18th & 19th March - full details available here.

  • DTAS New Assessor and Internal Auditor Course - a two-day course for any suitably qualified person wishing to become a DTAS assessor or existing assessors who want to refresh their expertise.  This is also now available for anyone designated to manage DTAS compliance or undertake self-audits.
     
  • DTAS Assessor CPD - a one-day course that all DTAS approved assessors are required to attend every year.
     
  • DTAS Awareness Course (Milk Transport) - a one-day course for people who wish to gain a good and effective understanding of the DTAS Standards, but do not (necessarily) wish to become assessors.
     
  • DTAS Awareness Course (Non Milk Transport) - bespoke training course consisting of an introduction to DTAS Standards, as well as practical elements, with focus on the needs of an individual company.
  • Food Safety and GMP for DTAS online Food Safety Training CourseThis comprises 7 units, following a driver's journey from when they arrive at a site and then go out on a collection and delivery. It should take around 80 minutes to complete, and not all units have to be finished in one session - online support is available,. The training is equivalent to Level 2 Food Safety and Level 2 HACCP and all participants successfully completing the course can download a certificate.

  • Driver Training - a one-day JAUPT approved Driver CPC training course with focus on "Milk Collection and DTAS Awareness for Drivers".
